Rochester Hills quality of life -am I missing something?

Median household income is $119,054, which feels pretty solid for the area. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 12 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
