Anyone else feel this way? I work in consulting and Crime rate is something to consider — Rochester sits at 214.8 per 100K. Household incomes average around $87,767 in Rochester. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
