Rent prices in Rochester getting crazy

Anyone else noticing rent going up fast in Rochester? Over the last year, I feel like prices went up at least 10-15%. I'm paying $1039 for a 1BR which feels okay for the area.

Are there any neighborhoods that are still affordable? Thinking about moving to a cheaper area.

If you can afford it, Downtown is the best place to live. Period.

The job market has been improving lately. Several manufacturing companies moved in recently.

Downtown is overrated and overpriced. The suburbs offer way better value.

Traffic is the worst part honestly. But if you live near work it's fine.
