Job market in Rock Hill for tech?

Alright, Crime rate is something to consider -Rock Hill sits at 661.0 per 100K. With a population of 74,769, Rock Hill is a smaller city. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Does this match your experience? The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cultural scene, you'll love it. The school system is genuinely excellent and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (Pine Hills) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Miami, be prepared for the culture shock. weather is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are wild. You get used to it after the first year.
