Relocating to Rock Hill, SC -pros and cons?

I relocated for work and Homes are going for about $267,400 on average. Household incomes average around $64,770 in Rock Hill. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value traffic, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely excellent and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. My neighborhood (Westside) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Minneapolis, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Urban sprawl is real.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
