Not sure if this has been asked before, but Been living here since 2012. Household incomes average around $53,328 in Rockford. Median household income is $53,328, which feels on the lower side for the area. You can expect to pay around $954 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. Let me know your thoughts. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
