Is Rockford good for remote workers?

Curious what people think. I'm originally from Tucson and Median household income is $53,328, which feels on the lower side for the area. Rent is about $954/month for a decent place. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Compared to San Diego it's surprisingly good.
