What Rockland does better than anywhere else

First post here. I relocated for work and Homes are going for about $234,400 on average. The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Rockland sits at 56.1 per 100K. With a population of 6,991, Rockland is a small town. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Would love some local perspective. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
