Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Any advice would be great. Moved here from Austin about 14 years ago. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Still getting used to food scene but Hope this helps!.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.
