Is Rocklin a good place to live?

Hey, I work in marketing and With a population of 72,340, Rocklin is a smaller city. Household incomes average around $120,916 in Rocklin. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Does this match your experience? The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a project manager who relocated here from Houston about 9 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are reasonable, gas is underrated.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
