Been meaning to ask this. With a population of 72,340, Rocklin is a smaller city. Poverty rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $673,300 on average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I overthinking this? The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
