Rocklin in the winter -how bad?

Random thought, I grew up here but left for a while. The median home value here is around $673,300, which is pretty steep. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Does this match your experience?

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.
