Studio apartments in Rocklin -options?

Hey, Been living here since 2018. The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. The median home value here is around $673,300, which is pretty steep. It's a a smaller city city with about 72,340 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any advice would be great. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 4 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Oak Park side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
