What to expect moving to Rocklin?

OK so I work in consulting and The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $120,916, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What do you all think? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Raleigh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in North. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
