Cheapest neighborhoods in Rockville?

Alright, I'm retired and The median home value here is around $658,300, which is pretty steep. It's a a smaller city city with about 67,218 people. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to Tampa it's average.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Fairview. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in legal. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 4 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
