Is Rockville worth moving to in 2026?

Been meaning to ask this. Rent is about $2,244/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $658,300 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I wrong here? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are improving, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Bought a house here in 2018 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone about the same since then.
