Rocky Mount vs Pittsburgh -which is better?

First post here. I relocated for work and Homes are going for about $148,300 on average. With a population of 54,175, Rocky Mount is a smaller city. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What are your go-to spots? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
