Hey everyone, We have two kids and Household incomes average around $159,638 in Rogers. It's a a small town city with about 13,405 people. The weather takes some getting used to. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Should I be concerned? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Used to live on the Riverside side, now on the The Heights side. Completely different vibe. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is average in most areas.

Came here for a job opportunity and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The community vibe is honestly tough and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Bought a house here in 2022 and it exceeded my expectations. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Public transit is underrated here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great craft beer places. it's been a really good experience overall.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Fairview for 15 years. Moved from Salt Lake City for school. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is hit or miss. We bought in 2019 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. Older homes are where the value is.
**Employment:**
finance is strong here. consulting is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are stable for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
the quality of life is solid. The outdoor scene is pretty good - we have lakes within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Fairview schools are hit or miss. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Limited public transit options. Winters are long and cold. And traffic can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For young professionals, I'd say this is a 8/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The dating scene is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
