Hello, I work in logistics and Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 3.5%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 44,461 people. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What would you do? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from San Francisco about 6 years ago. The main reasons were work and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals
Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is pretty good.
Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Happy to answer more specific questions..
