Working remotely from Roosevelt Park

I'm a college student here and Crime rate is something to consider -Roosevelt Park sits at 79.1 per 100K. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I overthinking this?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Dallas about 7 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Bugs and humidity in summer
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are affordable, gas is excellent.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
