Moving from Sacramento to Rose Hill CDP (Fairfax County) next month

Anyone else feel this way? I've been here for 9 years and Homes are going for about $657,900 on average. The median home value here is around $657,900, which is pretty steep. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Anyone in a similar situation? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 13 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the nightlife is legit. And if you're into running, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the South side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
