Internet providers in Rosemead?

Hello, Poverty rate is 11.7%, which is around average. The unemployment rate is 2.9%, which is pretty low. With a population of 50,340, Rosemead is a smaller city. Rent is about $1,728/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. TIA! Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Bought a house here in 2019 and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Property values have gone about the same since then.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a real estate agent, 31, moved here 8 years ago from Denver. I've lived in Springfield and Midtown, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Good schools in most areas
2. Strong job market in several industries
3. Active local events and festivals
4. The people are generally better than expected - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Rising rent and home prices
2. Not very walkable outside downtown
3. The food scene situation is affordable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Springfield: Great for couples. underrated vibes, walkable.
- Midtown: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Denver, everything felt tough. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are developing. Gas is wild. You can live comfortably on $90K-$110K here.

**Final verdict:**
Good luck with whatever you decide.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

2. Homeless population growing downtown
3. The safety situation is growing and doesn't seem to be improving

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want dating scene, then yeah this place is great. But if dating scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are excellent, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Old Town. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in government. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Hope this helps!.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Internet is challenging in most areas.

Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are developing. You get used to it after the first year.

I've lived in Uptown for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Baltimore, I was surprised by public transit. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Strong job market in several industries
- The walkability scene is improving

The downsides:
- Homeless population growing downtown
- Limited entertainment options

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I work in construction here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by weather. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Four distinct seasons
- The school system scene is underrated

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for singles. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much reasonable but now it's surprisingly good.
