Is Rosemont still affordable?

I'm a teacher here and Poverty rate is 12.1%, which is around average. Rent is about $1,719/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a small town city with about 23,448 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Close to nature
- Active local events

Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- High property taxes
- Homelessness issues downtown
There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
