Is Rosemont walkable?

We have two kids and The unemployment rate is 4.2%, which is about average. With a population of 23,448, Rosemont is a small town. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Would love some local perspective. TIA! Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Tampa about 2 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are affordable, gas is solid.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Good luck with whatever you decide..
