First post here. I relocated for work and With a population of 39,467, Rosenberg is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -Rosenberg sits at 380.1 per 100K. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Is this normal for Rosenberg? The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Public transit is solid here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in Uptown area are challenging. Kids love it here.

Bought a house here in 2020 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone up a bit since then.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a sales manager who relocated here from San Francisco about 10 years ago. The main reasons were work and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Good internet infrastructure
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it tough compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are developing, gas is challenging.
Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
