Hi all, Just moved here 11 months ago and Household incomes average around $61,222 in Roseville. It's a a smaller city city with about 47,240 people. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Pittsburgh about 9 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and my partner's job.
Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good airport with direct flights
- Strong sense of community
Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Can feel isolated
Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is improving.
Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. No regrets on my end..

Bought a house here in 2017 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone about the same since then.

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it was the best decision I ever made.
