I relocated for work and The median home value here is around $173,500, which is actually reasonable. Median household income is $68,381, which feels about average for the area. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Any help is appreciated. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are solid, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
