Biggest downsides of living in Roswell?

Longtime lurker here, Military spouse here. Poverty rate is 4.4%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $124,422, which feels pretty solid for the area. The median home value here is around $520,500, which is pretty steep. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Thoughts? The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I work in engineering here and the quality of life is solid. The job market for my field is average. Definitely worth checking out..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Miami about 8 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are established, gas is underrated.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Good luck with whatever you decide..
