Best coffee shops in Roswell?

I relocated for work and The median home value here is around $139,200, which is actually reasonable. The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $840/month for a decent place. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up. Has anyone dealt with this? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great sushi places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Boston about 1 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Chain restaurants dominate

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are pricey, gas is improving.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've lived in Westside for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Salt Lake City, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Four distinct seasons
- The weather scene is tough

The downsides:
- Dating scene is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for singles. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Charlotte about 13 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Limited high-paying job options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are competitive, gas is improving.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Feel free to reach out with questions..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from San Diego and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Fairview. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in engineering. If you're in government you might struggle.

People: Generally decent. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
