Hello, I work in consulting and The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $50,294 in Roswell. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Should I be concerned? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I have mixed feelings honestly. Internet is pretty good in most areas.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because the quality of life is solid. The walkability is honestly solid and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.
I've been here 13 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is better than expected.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Old Town side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.

We moved here with our family and I have mixed feelings honestly. Schools in Greenfield area are hit or miss. Kids love it here.
