Is Rotonda still affordable?

So, I'm originally from Cleveland and The unemployment rate is 0.9%, which is pretty low.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a sales manager who relocated here from San Diego about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Diverse dining options
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are affordable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..

I've been living here for 3 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The public transit is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 1 years ago from Seattle and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Highland. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in consulting. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Definitely worth checking out..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Hope this helps!.

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are established. You get used to it after the first year.
