Random thought, The median home value here is around $203,700, which is actually reasonable. Rent is about $1,212/month for a decent place. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in Oak Park area are tough. Kids love it here.

As someone who grew up here, it exceeded my expectations. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much established but now it's challenging.
