What's it really like living in Round Lake?

Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Is this normal for Round Lake?

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Active local events and festivals
- Good airport with direct flights
- The safety scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Dating scene is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for remote workers. Hope this helps!.

Used to live on the Pine Hills side, now on the North side. Completely different vibe. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
