Affordable areas near Round Rock?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but My family moved here when I was a kid. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. It's a a mid-size city city with about 124K people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Am I wrong here? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. traffic used to be much pricey but now it's improving.
