Best coffee shops in Rowlett?

Hello, What would you do? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Bought a house here in 2018 and it's been a really good experience overall. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Hot take but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. I know a lot of people disagree but after 2 years here, that's my honest assessment.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. it was the best decision I ever made. Compared to Dallas it's underrated.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in East for 5 years. Moved from Seattle for my partner's job. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is underrated. We bought in 2018 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 2-bed in a safe area. The market is competitive but not impossible.

**Employment:**
education is strong here. tech is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are competitive for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor scene is better than expected - we have mountains within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. East schools are hit or miss. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Nightlife is limited. Dating scene is rough. And pet-friendliness can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For retirees, I'd say this is a 7/10. Feel free to reach out with questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.
