Best companies to work for in Roxborough Park?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm originally from St. Louis and Homes are going for about $648,100 on average. It's a a small town city with about 9,365 people. The suburbs are where most families end up. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Am I overthinking this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Used to live on the Westside side, now on the Riverside side. Completely different vibe. I love the pace of life here.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much affordable but now it's surprisingly good.

I've lived in The Heights for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Active local events and festivals
- The school system scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for couples. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 10 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's developing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want housing market, then yeah this place is great. But if nightlife matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've been here 15 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is dating scene. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is better than expected.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, No regrets on my end..
