Moving to Royal Oak -what should I know?

The median home value here is around $305,900, which seems about average. It's a a smaller city city with about 57,880 people. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. What do you all think?

As someone who grew up here, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much established but now it's improving.
