Freelancing from Royal Palm Beach -experience?

Anyone else feel this way? Homes are going for about $389,300 on average. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What do you all think? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I've lived in Springfield for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by job market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- The weather scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. No regrets on my end..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Public transit is better than expected here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.
