How is the nightlife in Royal Palm Beach?

Been meaning to ask this. Poverty rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $92,382, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 39,089 people. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Any advice would be great. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Highland. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is reasonable right now, especially in education. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like sushi.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are better than expected, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem tough.

I've been here 13 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Midtown side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Miami it's pretty good.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if school system matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

As someone who grew up here, it's improved dramatically in recent years. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much stable but now it's improving.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value healthcare, you'll love it. The public transit is genuinely tough and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (The Heights) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Minneapolis, be prepared for the culture shock. job market is completely different here. And Property taxes are high.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
