Best apartments in Ruleville under ?

Hello, Been living here since 2017. You can expect to pay around $633 for rent here. Homes are going for about $94,700 on average. Rent is about $633/month for a decent place. Median household income is $35,536, which feels on the lower side for the area. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Great weather
- Good job market
- Good schools

Cons:
- Limited nightlife
- Not very walkable
- Far from major airports
Cheers. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

I'm a nurse and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Baltimore about 3 years ago. The main reasons were weather and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are wild, gas is better than expected.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 8 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into skiing, this place is challenging.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Old Town side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Definitely worth checking out..

Weather-wise, the summers are solid and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Public transit is pretty good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want cultural scene, then yeah this place is great. But if job market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
