What's it really like living in Rutgers University-Busch Campus?

Hey, Rent is about $2,031/month for a decent place. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Phoenix about 12 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are reasonable, gas is challenging.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Hope this helps!.

I work in marketing here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
