Planning a move to Sachse -neighborhoods?

Hey folks, I'm single, late 50s, and It's a a smaller city city with about 29,075 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Any help is appreciated. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

My experience has been mostly positive. I love the pace of life here. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, No regrets on my end..
