Studio apartments in Sagamore -options?

Hello, The median home value here is around $562,600, which is pretty steep. Poverty rate is 1.2%, which is pretty low. The suburbs are where most families end up. Is this normal for Sagamore? Thanks for reading. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is public transit. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Worth doing your research before committing.

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in North area are underrated. Kids love it here.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in North for 6 years. Moved from Boston for cost of living. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is solid. We bought in 2022 at k and it's now worth up significantly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable.

**Employment:**
construction is strong here. engineering is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are competitive for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I'm still on the fence after all this time. The outdoor scene is average - we have state parks within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. North schools are hit or miss. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Dating scene is rough. Far from beaches/mountains. And public transit can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For families, I'd say this is a 7/10. Feel free to reach out with questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Greenfield. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in retail. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like sushi.

No regrets on my end..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Midtown. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Korean.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
