So, We're a young couple and Rent is about $909/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $54,000, which is actually reasonable. Crime rate is something to consider -Saginaw sits at 1,474.3 per 100K. Poverty rate is 27.0%, which is higher than I expected. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Should I be concerned? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
