Relocating to Saginaw, MI -pros and cons?
First post here. Poverty rate is 27.0%, which is higher than I expected. Household incomes average around $37,298 in Saginaw. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Does this match your experience? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up.
