OK so I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a small town city with about 24,467 people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Charlotte about 13 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Decent public transit for the size
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited shopping options
Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are competitive, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Good luck with whatever you decide..
