Life in Sahuarita as a young professional

Hello, I'm a college student here and Average temperature is around 68--F, so the weather is moderate. With a population of 35,012, Sahuarita is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $1,763 for rent here. Homes are going for about $341,800 on average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Cedar Grove. It's challenging for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in marketing. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
