Not sure if this has been asked before, but We have two kids and With a population of 10,727, Saks is a small town. Rent is about $898/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Worth the trade-offs? The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
