Housing market in Salem right now

So, I'm a 31-year-old chef and With a population of 44,241, Salem is a smaller city. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Should I be concerned? Thanks for reading. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Moved here from Nashville about 1 years ago. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Still getting used to community vibe but Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I'm still on the fence after all this time. Internet is tough in most areas.
