Cheapest neighborhoods in Salida?

Alright, What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

We moved here with our family and I love the pace of life here. Schools in North area are average. Kids love it here.

I've lived in Sunset for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Dallas, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Active local events and festivals
- The community vibe scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Nightlife is limited
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Definitely worth checking out..

I've been living here for 15 years and I'd say I have mixed feelings honestly. The food scene is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a software engineer who relocated here from Charlotte about 1 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Can feel isolated
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are established, gas is average.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Happy to answer more specific questions..
